Steve secured his first Challenge Tour win at the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge in 2019.

He turned pro in 2007 after attending Georgia State University. With a career spanning into Asia and Europe and Africa.

Tiley gained worldwide attention at The 139th Open Championship in 2010, carding a notable 66 on day one beating a certain Tiger Woods. Steven also finished a career high tied 26th at the Open Championship at Muirfield in 2013 beating notable names such as Rory Mcilory and Dustin Johnson. Tiley has competed in a total of 4 British Opens as to date.

In 2018 Tiley triumphed at the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, claiming victory on the Cromwell Course with a score of -6 and earning a €50,000 prize.

Steve since turning his attention to coaching has ended his Challenge Tour career with a total of 240 events spanning 15 years and is currently Top 10 on the all time money list.
